Meet the CEO and Founder

       My name is Kimberly Stratton - the CEO / Founder of International H.O.P.E. Inc. (previously known as H.O.P.E. 717, Inc.). The Lord initially blessed us to set up His ministry in Harrisburg, Pa; however, now we are officially set up in the Sunshine state of Florida (effective Oct. 2019) to assist ministries and the communities in need. I have been in the customer service industry in some way or another my entire life. So when God gave me the vision and entrusted me with feeding and providing for His people, I said "YES" without hesitation, and H.O.P.E. 717, Inc. was birthed. H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Overcome Poverty Everywhere which started locally in the 717 area code. Based on the above, I would say without a doubt, that H.O.P.E. 717, Inc. is hugely customer focused.
      Honestly, H.O.P.E. 717, Inc. came forth because I was tired of being tired. I was troubled at seeing people hungry and in need of services that the city was providing but many members in the community were not aware of such services. I was also astonished of hearing about services that were not being announced to all communities; therefore, creating even higher levels of poverty and those becoming food deprived. I was beyond tired and I started complaining. I complained to myself. I complained to people and then I went to God - who I should have gone to first. He assured me that there was a need, but many are called, few are chosen and even fewer adhere to the call of being chosen. Then in the Summer/Fall of 2018, God made it clear that as I had progressed in Him, so had H.O.P.E. 717, Inc. and He renamed the organization International H.O.P.E. Inc. because we are no longer local - but international. Since I beckoned to God's call on my life and to help His people, I plan to make International H.O.P.E. Inc. my life-long mission.
       My passion and drive in life is to help others in need. I look around and I cry and mourn for those who feel helpless, hopeless, unwelcome, unloved and think that they are at the end of their rope. They may also feel like there is nowhere to turn or no place to be comforted. This is one of the many reasons why God chose to start a community and faith-based program like International H.O.P.E. Inc. Let's no longer talk about changing the world in which we live in - let's simply do it.
      This is where you come in. It is time for you to join us - to make that change with us. Take that extra step, adhere to the call and be a part of something greater than yourself. Change always starts with ordinary people doing extraordinary things for the greater good. I look forward to hearing from you to volunteer, donate and/or support International H.O.P.E. Inc. and help us to overcome poverty everywhere - locally and abroad.
